Job description

Location: Hybrid in Garden Grove, CA (2 days on-site per week).




Position Overview:

We are seeking a Payment Poster to join a dynamic team focused on posting and reconciling payments across multiple payer types, including government, commercial, and CalAIM. This role requires attention to detail, an ability to read Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), and familiarity with contractual adjustments. If you thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, this could be the role for you!




Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately post payments after they are received from payers.
  • Review and balance mass payment batches.
  • Reconcile discrepancies and ensure month-end close deadlines are met (by the 3rd of each month).
  • Work with both standard EOBs and specialized CalAIM payers (training provided).
  • Collaborate with the team to prepare payments for posting.
  • Utilize Excel for data entry, batch reconciliation, and reporting.



Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • Required: Familiarity with payment posting and understanding of EOBs and contractual adjustments.
    • Preferred: Experience with eClinicalWorks (ECW).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, including adding lines, manipulating spreadsheets, and basic formulas.
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational abilities, good communication skills (emails/phone calls), and a proactive attitude.
