Job description

Small dollar claims, project also includes a work queue component.

Intense role that requires someone who is comfortable working in a fast paced environment. Higher level employee needed.

3+ years hospital follow up experience required.

Location: Pennsauken, NJ

Shift: Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5pm

EPIC is nice to have skill.

Metrics: 40 accounts/day (line by line review by employee)

Duties Include:

  • Contacting patients to complete Medicaid applications and charity care process
  • Verifying patient health insurance information
  • Working with patients and/or family members, employers, banks and
  • federal/state offices for additional information as needed
  • Accurately document information into various systems
  • Performing duties such as faxing, filing, emailing, and making phone calls to facilitate completion of applications
  • Provide coverage at hospital facility(ies) on an as needed basis
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills both written and verbal
  • Must have customer service and office skills
  • Must be willing to cross train and cover hospitals including nights and weekends
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications: Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Detail oriented, strong problem solving, and research skills
  • Ability to meet monthly productivity goals

Applicant must be flexible with shift and be willing to see patients late in the
afternoon if needed
Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license/car insurance. Reimbursement for
travel expenses is provided.
Applicants must pass a criminal background check and drug screen prior to start.
Physical Exam, PPD screening, and immunization records are also required. Minimum
high school diploma or GED is also required.
