Patient Access Rep / Patient Registration (Long-Term Contract)

Scottsdale, AZ (ONSITE)

Pay: $18-$22/HR

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM

*Must Haves To Apply*:

• 1+ year Medical Front Desk/Receptionist/Patient Access experience
• Modern EMR experience (EPIC, Athena, etc.)
• Insurance verification experience
• High school diploma or GED

• Excellent Attitude & Willingness to help patients

• Insurance Verification Experience (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial Plans)

Duties:

• Patient Check in
• Collect & update patient demographics
• Collect & update insurance
• Perform insurance verification as needed
• Distribute and collect patient intake forms
• Authorizations
• Assist with med records, scanning, data entry, etc.
• Monitoring Wait Room, Make sure all Patients are seen/happy/haven't been waiting for too long and communicate what's going on if so

3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications:

• Bilingual in Spanish
• In depth healthcare insurance knowledge
