Medix is currently hiring a Medical Assistant for a local contract to hire position as part of a mobile care team in Corpus Christi.

Responsibilities/ Job Duties:

• Perform triage, patient intake and gathering of information.
• Work as part of the mobile care team, delivering equipment to patient homes
• Handle administrative tasks like record-keeping, insurance verifications, and schedule checks.

Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year Medical Assisting experience is required
• Medical Assistant Certification is required
• BLS Certification is required
• Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred

Schedule/ Shift:

• 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday
