Job description

Are you still currently in the job market for a full time role? I am hiring a Pre Op / PACU Nurse for an Outpatient Ambulatory Surgery Center in Atlanta GA.

Job Summary -

Maintains current knowledge of ambulatory post anesthesia / perioperative nursing practice. Utilizes opportunities for professional growth by attending continuing education programs. Attends seminars and meetings relevant to PACU / Ambulatory Surgery as requested by the Center.

Reviews preoperative/postoperative physician orders to determine patient needs. Obtains and reviews patient medical history for accuracy upon admission.

Reviews and assesses diagnostic data (or absence thereof) and collaborates with physicians and other health care workers to provide appropriate follow-up actions.

Schedule:

3 - 12 hour shifts

4 - 10 hour shifts

Qualifications

- Experience in an ASC / Operating Room / Outpatient
 - Valid RN License

- BLS

-ACLS
