Microsoft Developer - 238462

6-Month Contact

100% Remote

We have an exciting opportunity for a Microsoft Developer to join our clients team working on a high-impact cloud migration project. Key responsibilities include designing and optimizing data pipelines with Azure Data Factory and Databricks, developing and validating reports, and integrating tools like SSRS, SSIS, and SharePoint into the updated architecture. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL Server and Power BI, with a focus on maintaining and optimizing data workflows while ensuring seamless cloud transition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports.
  • Collaborate with data teams to ensure data consistency and accuracy during migration to Azure.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and provide Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot existing reports and data processes.
  • Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure data integrity post-migration.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong experience with SSRS, SSIS, SQL Server, and Power BI.
  • Familiarity with data migration strategies from on-prem to Azure cloud.
  • Solid understanding of database management and ETL processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Azure data services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based reporting solutions.
