Job description

Medix is looking to hire a Medical Services Manager (LVN) to join a well-established, non-profit Mental Health Center in Los Angeles (90023).

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00- 5:00 pm

Pay: $75,000 - $85,000/year + Benefits

Requirements:

  • CA LVN License
  • 1-2 years Psych experience, must be knowledgable about antipsychotic medications (especially injectable)
  • 1 year of Supervisory Experience preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • The Medical Services Manager will be working at a residential facility with adult clients, ages 18-59.
  • Responsible for planning and coordinating the activities of the medication room.
  • Oversee all medication room personnel and collaborate with other disciplines and departments to maintain safety and quality.
  • Administer Invega injections.
  • Review and process medical referrals from clinic and forward to Case Managers.
  • Track and ensure accuracy of the referrals process.
  • Supervise 4-5 medical technicians, providing coaching and guidance as needed.
  • Oversee the schedule of Psychiatrists to ensure no overlaps.
  • Navigate the CareLogic EMR system.
  • On-call responsibilities to answer after hours questions from staff on site.
