Job description

Job Title: Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Akron, OH 44303

Schedule: Monday-Friday: 8am-5pm

Compensation:

  • Medical Assistant: 20/hr
  • LPN: 21-25/hr
  • Weekly pay + Benefits
Company Overview:
Community based health system where all employees share a common vision of quality, community-based primary care available to all.

Position Overview:
  • Looking for compassionate MA's or LPN's!
  • Assist about 17-20 patients daily
  • Greet and room patients
  • Obtain vital signs and chief complaints
  • Injections, Phlebotomy, EKGs, COVID testing, INR finger pricks, medication reconciliation
  • Charting in the EMR system eClinicalWorks
  • May assist with minor procedures: ear lavage, suture removals, B12 shots, pap smears, IUD, etc
  • Handle ~15 phone calls daily including patient call backs, answering medications questions, providing lab results, prior authorizations, or and follow up for Providers
Qualifications:
  • At least 6 months of experience is ideal
    If a Medical Assistant: Medical Assistant diploma OR certification
  • If a LPN: LPN License in state of Ohio
  • BLS/CPR
