Gastroenterology Clinic in Everett Washington looking for a Medical Assistant to join their team. Overview of Responsibilities:

• Escort patients to examination rooms, obtain vital signs, review and reconcile pertinent patient information and history in preparation for appointment with the provider.
• Successfully collaborate and work in support of the team to ensure efficient and quality patient care
• Successfully work in a fast-paced, changing environment with effective time management and ability to multitask and prioritize workload
• Schedule patient appointments, answer the telephone, and follow-up with patients/families in a professional and courteous manner
• Front desk duties, scheduling, and conducting external referrals
• Always maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information
• Sustain excellent patient interactions using clear communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain acceptable standards of office conduct
• Punctual, regular, timely, and dependable attendance

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 Year Experience
• Certified MAs
• MA-C
• MA-R
• BLS Certification

Additional Skills:

• EHR Experience (EPIC Preferred)
• Gastroenterology experience

Schedule/Shift:

• 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM | 4 10's
• May need to cover 0-1 shifts each week at Arlington clinic.

Contract Length:

• 520 Hours. Opportunity to convert to permanent hire after satisfactory completion of contract.

Pay:

$20.00 - $28.00/hr (Dependant on experience)
