Schedule:
- Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for exams by obtaining medical history, vital signs, growth parameters, and reason for visit.
- Assist providers during patient examinations and treatments.
- Administer injections and vaccines.
- Perform visual and auditory exams.
- Conduct diagnostic laboratory procedures, including venipuncture and other tests.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and medical records.
- Assist with referrals, scheduling appointments, and clerical duties as needed.
- Contribute to a positive patient experience by delivering compassionate and high-quality care.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.
- Current COVID-19 and flu vaccination.
- Proficient in data entry and use of electronic medical records (EMR), preferably Athena.
