Responsibilities
* Rooming patients and managing a daily volume of 16-20 patients
* Performing vitals, EKGs, and ultrasounds
* Chart preparation and documentation in Athena EMR
* Conducting patient callbacks with results
Required Qualifications & Skills
* 1+ years of back-office Medical Assistant experience
* Medical Assistant Diploma
* High school diploma or GED
* EMR experience (Athena preferred)
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
* Experience in Cardiology or other specialties
* Bilingual (Spanish-English) is a plus
* Strong Athena EMR experience
Soft Skills & Attributes
* Strong customer service skills and patient care mindset
* Team player with a proactive attitude
* Strong work ethic and reliability
Compensation
* $19.50 - $23 per hour (based on experience)
