Process Technician - Medical Device Manufacturing

Location: Irvine, CA
Schedule: 2nd Shift | Monday - Friday | 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM (Occasional Weekend OT)

Are you looking for an opportunity to grow your career in medical manufacturing? We are hiring a Process Technician to join our team in a fast-paced, FDA-regulated environment, supporting the production of life-changing orthopedic products.

About the Role

As a Process Technician, you will play a critical role in prepping, packaging, and supporting production operations to meet the company's build plan and forecast demands. Working closely with the Manufacturing Supervisor/Manager, you'll ensure compliance with SOPs, GMPs, and ISO standards while maintaining high-quality production output.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support formulation and build of medical device products
  • Prepare and verify components for production
  • Follow SOP requirements for cleaning, labeling, and sealing processed units
  • Perform inventory control transactions in ERP systems
  • Maintain and stock supplies for controlled environments (clean room, autoclave, quality areas)
  • Assist with final packaging, kitting, and prepping of production lots
  • Participate in daily clean room activities and general facility maintenance
  • Support wastewater treatment for proper disposal procedures
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance records
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support production needs

What You Need to Succeed



Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 0-2 years of experience in an FDA-regulated manufacturing environment (Medical Device preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures
  • Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently
  • Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work in a team environment
  • Comfortable working in a controlled environment (clean rooms, ISO class 5, 7 & 8)
  • Ability to read, write, and document information accurately in English
  • Willing to work overtime as needed
