Medical Assistant

Medix is currently hiring for a Part-Time Medical Assistant for our client in Pasadena, CA. As a Medical Assistant for this organization, you would be supporting two providers with a mix of front and back office responsibilities. The client is a Nephrology practice, looking for Medical Assistants with a year of experience and are eager to learn!

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• 50% Clinical/50% Admin Work
• Responsible for charting and discharging patients
• EMR System Used - Prima
• Back Office: Taking Vitals, Rooming Patients
• Front Office: Scheduling patient appointments

• Eager to Learn
• At least one year of previous MA experience

Must Have Qualifications:

• MA Diploma
• Covid Vaccine
• Flu Vaccine

Schedule: Monday - Thursday

Hours: 8:30am-12:30pm OR 12:30-4:30pm (Must be available for either set of hours)

Pay: $19/hour
