Job description

We're seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to contribute to clinical and administrative operations. Under the guidance of your supervisor, you'll undertake various responsibilities, including:

Clinical Duties:

  • Recording vital signs and patient history
  • Preparing patients for examinations and conducting routine screening tests
  • Assisting physicians during exams
  • Collecting lab specimens, including phlebotomy, and conducting basic lab tests
  • Maintaining patient logs for lab requests, treatment orders, and prescriptions
  • Ensuring proper flow and stocking of back office rooms
  • Assisting with room turnover and setup for procedures
  • Updating patient medication records before physician visits
  • Assisting with in-office surgical procedures

Administrative Duties:

  • Supporting other administrative projects and tasks as required

Ideal Candidate:

  • Procedural experience desirable
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment (approximately 100 patients per day)
  • Open to training and development

Schedule/Shift:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Shifts vary between 7:45 AM and 6:30 PM, with flexibility required
  • Full-time position with potential for overtime
