Medical Assistant

Seattle, WA 98101

Hemophilia Treatment Center in Seattle Washington looking for a Medical Assistant to join their team. This Clinic is located Downtown Seattle in a beautiful office filled with warm, caring, and supportive culture.

Overview of Responsibilities:

  • Escort patients to examination rooms, obtain vital signs, review and reconcile pertinent patient information and history in preparation for appointment with the provider.
  • Successfully collaborate and work in support of the team to ensure efficient and quality patient care
  • Successfully work in a fast-paced, changing environment with effective time management and ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  • Schedule patient appointments, answer the telephone, and follow-up with patients/families in a professional and courteous manner
  • Always maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information
  • Sustain excellent patient interactions using clear communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain acceptable standards of office conduct
  • Punctual, regular, timely, and dependable attendance
  • Front desk duties, scheduling, and medication/allergy reconciliation.
  • Obtaining telemedicine consent and updating emergency contacts.
  • Laundry tasks and processing records requests.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 Year Experience
  • Certified MAs
    • MA-C
  • BLS Certification
  • EHR Experience

Additional Skills:

  • Lab Draw / Processing Experience
  • Hematology Experience

Schedule/Shift:

  • 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM | Monday - Friday

Contract Length:

  • 1040 Hours. Opportunity to convert to permanent hire after satisfactory completion of contract.

Pay:

$29.00 - $33.00/hr (Dependant on experience)
