Job description

Job Posting: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - Multi-Specialty Pediatric Clinic

Location: Multi-specialty Pediatric Clinic
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:15 am - 4:45 pm

Join a dynamic pediatric team dedicated to providing excellent care to a diverse patient population, including children with autism and other special needs. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-specialty environment and is ready to make a positive impact in children's healthcare.

Responsibilities:



Back Office Duties

  • Rooming patients and recording vitals (height, weight, BP)
  • Cleaning and restocking exam rooms
  • Supporting providers with minor procedures
  • Administering injections, primarily for allergy treatments
  • Conducting EKGs and other procedures as required by the provider
  • Phlebotomy (preferred but not required)


Front Office Duties

  • Cross-trained to support front office operations as needed (1-2 days per week)
  • Checking in and registering patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments
  • Verifying insurance and collecting copays

Qualifications:



Required:

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with a diploma from an accredited institution (such as a community college, Fortis, Brightwood College, or All State Careers)
  • Accepted MA Certifications: AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCCT, NAHP, or ARMA
  • Strong background in back-office duties with a willingness to be trained in front-office operations
  • Comfortable working with children, including those with special needs


Preferred:

  • EPIC experience
  • Previous front desk experience
