We're seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage insurance claims, outstanding balances, and payment posting. If you're skilled in navigating insurance processes and enjoy making an impact, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact insurance companies to resolve outstanding claims.
- Ensure insurance information is accurate and up to date.
- Address and work through outstanding balances, including patient outreach if necessary.
- Manage a workload of 30-40 charts per day.
- Post payments
Requirements:
- Familiarity with insurances, appeals, and explanation of benefits (EOBs).
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and MediShare.
- At least six months of collections experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- A patient and kind demeanor with individuals, but firm and persistent with insurance companies.
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
