Job description

Position:Medical Admin Assistant
Type: Full-Time
Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15205

We are looking for a motivated Medical Admin Assistant to join our pharmacy operations team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of pharmacy-related data while supporting our goal of delivering top-notch patient care. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, participate in ongoing training, and help improve processes that impact the patient experience. This is a great opportunity for individuals passionate about patient care and eager to learn about the pharmacy industry. NO PREVIOUS HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE NEEDED!

Essential Functions:

  • Enter pharmacy-related data accurately, ensuring completeness, and proactively seek additional information when necessary.
  • Resolve common data entry issues by working with internal stakeholders.
  • Strive to meet and exceed structured performance targets.
  • Document process information and data discoveries according to established procedures.
  • Utilize Knowledge Base materials to address inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient and proprietary information at all times.
  • Develop a strong understanding of company security and privacy practices.
  • Participate in continued education on product updates, new features, and product launches.
  • Share feedback with management to help improve products, materials, and processes, enhancing the patient experience.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Desire to work in a patient-centric role.
  • Passion for providing excellent patient care.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn new software systems quickly.

Job Type: Full time

Compensation: $17-18

Hours: Full time - Mon-Fri 8 hours between 8am-9:30pm and Sat 9am-5pm (1 Sat a month)

Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15205

Start Date: ASAP

Benefits: In order to be eligible for health benefits, you must be employed for 30 days and must average 30 hours per week over your first four weeks on assignment. If you become eligible and take action to enroll, you will be covered no earlier than 60 days into your assignment, depending on plan selection(s).
