Manufacturing Technician

Allentown, PA 18102

Monday - Friday 1st and 2nd Shift

Pay: $30-35/HR, based on experience

Duration: 6 month contract to direct hire

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-5 years of experience in tablet or capsule manufacturing, preferably with compression experience on tablet presses.
• Knowledge of GMP standards, vitamins, and nutraceuticals.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work either 1st shift (6:30 am - 2:30 pm) or 2nd shift (2:30 pm - 10:30 pm), with overtime as required.
• Flexibility to work weekends with overtime compensation at time and a half and double overtime rates.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a small team environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate tablet presses for manufacturing tablets and capsules.
• Weighing, dispensing, and blending of pharmaceutical ingredients.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to manufacturing processes.
• Work collaboratively with a small team, wearing multiple hats as required.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
