Job description

Position Summary:

The entry level manufacturing technician will work in a team based manufacturing environment and under ISO 9001/13485 and cGMP guidelines to generate labeled antibodies of different specifications in accordance with written SOPs and master manufacturing schedule.

Provide technical support to the laboratory Sr. Specialists in new products development and processes improvement including:
  • conjugation
  • plating
  • running gels
  • protein purification
  • immunization procedure optimization
  • stability studies

RequirementsThe entry level manufacturing technician position requires a Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent with a minimum of 2 - 5 years related experience OR 0 to 2 years with a Masters and demonstrated working knowledge of scientific principles.

  • Knowledge of immunoassays is essential.
  • Expertise in antibody purification and production of labeled antibodies is desirable.
  • Experience in writing SOPs, technical reports, study plans and validation protocols is a plus.
  • Experience in calculating dilutions, pH, and pipetting
