Job description

We are looking for an individual with at least 5 years of experience in Life Insurance.

Location - Chicago, Illinois

Salary - $55,000

Day to Day:

  • Customer Service & Support:
    • Provide expert level assistance to policyholders regarding policy inquires, coverage details, and benefits
    • Respond to and resolve complex policyholder inquiries via phone and email
    • Address claims issues, policy updates, premium payments, and beneficiary changes efficiently
  • Claims Handling
    • Assist policyholders through the claims process, ensuring proper documentation and timely resolution
    • Investigate, evaluate, and process claims, ensuring compliance with policy terms and regulations
    • Work closely with the claims department to facilitate smooth resolution of claims issues
  • Policy Maintenance and Updates
    • Process policy changes including address updates, beneficiary changes, and coverage modifications
    • Assist with policy renewals and cancellations, explaining any policy changes or options available
    • Ensure all policyholder requests are documented accurately and in a timely manner in the system
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance
    • Ensure all customer interactions comply with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards
    • Maintain a high level of accuracy in all records and communications
    • Participate in internal audits and quality assurance programs to ensure service excellence
  • Reporting and Documentation
    • Maintain detailed records of all interactions, policy changes, and claims
    • Generate reports on policyholder activity and provide feedback to management for process improvement
    • Analyze trends in customer inquiries and concerns to identify areas for service enhancement

Shift:

  • Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm Central

Benefits:

In order to be eligible for health benefits, you must be employed for 30 days and must average 30 hours per week over your first four weeks on assignment. If you become eligible and take action to enroll, you will be covered no earlier than 60 days into your assignment, depending on plan selection(s).
