Job Description

Responsibilities/ Job Duties: The Intake Coordinator plays a crucial role in our patient care team by coordinating the intake process for new and existing patients. This position involves collaboration with administrative and clinical

teams to ensure seamless patient experiences and robust provider relationships.

  • Patient Referrals: Receive, organize, and process new patient referrals efficiently.
  • Chart Management: Ensure patient charts are complete, updated, and accurate according to company protocols.
  • Information Requests: Handle release of information requests, including retrieving and transmitting medical records with precision and confidentiality.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks to ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of released information.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns proactively.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with all team members to achieve our goal of excellent patient care.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on state laws and fee structures; ensure adherence to HIPAA, state/federal regulations, and labor laws.
  • Medical Records Management: Create and maintain accurate and secure medical records; code patients' medical information for reimbursement purposes.

Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements:

  • 1+ Years of Healthcare Customer Service (Phones) Experience - Intake, CS, UM, etc.
  • Ability to handle a high call volume
  • Solid attendance record in previous roles
  • Strong communicator
  • Previous experience with insurance verification, authorizations and eligibility is a plus (not required!)

Schedule/ Shift: M-F, 8am-5pm
