Responsibilities

• Medical Front desk/receptionist experience is required (patient access, scheduling, call center, insurance verification, etc.)
• They do follow-up with current patients and schedule new patients with the Doctors
• Although they have a built out call center, they will be responsible for making outbound calls throughout the day when needed and occasionally there are calls that are transferred to them at the front desk. They can expect around 10 calls per day on average
• The Front Office Associate will be responsible for uploading new patient and updating existing patient demographic information in their EHR system to keep records accurate and up to date
• They will communicate over slack with the teams across CA at the other offices
• They do send out Zoom links for appts as well, as their providers are now offering Telehealth visits for patients, so they need to be relatively tech savvy
• Call insurances for eligibility and benefits
• Process medical records and pull medical records when necessary
• They will also be processing payments
• Scan and fax documentation to the doctors
• 4-7 providers is the team size they will be working with. It's important for this person to know that the providers all have different personalities and we should be identifying someone who has an easygoing personality that can mesh well in a team environment like this
• If they have experience with insurance verification and doing any sort of EOBs, that will be helpful
