Job description

Non-travel Registered Nurse opportunity

Open to those with strong IV/infusion experience. ER or ICU experience transfers well!

Location: Greenwich, CT

Requires: RN Licensing and IV experience

Experience: At least two years of experience with IVs or infusions

Hours: 2 days a week- Wednesdays and Thursdays 8a-4:30p- Potential to pick up more hours if wanted at other locations

Non-travel role!

Setting: Infusion center

Pay: Varies based on experience but typically ranges: $40-50/h- please contact for more information or flexibility depending on experience and certifications

  • Assesses health status by interviewing patient regarding current status and medical history.
  • Collects and records nursing assessment and interventions.
  • Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote the continuity of care consistent with established standards and practices.
  • Facilitates dose modification by assessing patient, assessing labs, consulting protocol or treatment plan, calculating dose, and consulting physician regarding dosage modifications, problems and symptom management
  • Performs venipuncture, accesses implanted ports and maintains central lines catheter devices.
  • Facilitates clinical operations and patient care
  • Manages patient medication refill requests from the pharmacy telephone line and records the information in the patient chart.
  • Assists physician with exams and procedures.
  • Provides nursing coverage for the satellite offices as needed
  • Prepares and administers therapies under the direction and supervision of a physician.
  • Administers all medications/blood products using correct medication/blood product, dosage/amount, route, time and technique.
