Job description

Medix is hiring a Hybrid LMFT (FT or PT) for a well-established non-profit community organization.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Provides individual, family and group psychotherapy as a licensed or wavered practitioner of the healing arts (LCSW, LMFT). Develops and executes appropriate treatment plans, and provides services under the ethical and clinical guidelines of best practice for their discipline.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintains appropriate training to meet specific requirements to achieve/maintain professional license and/or certification.
2. Provides individual and family psychotherapy. Provides services at the clinic or remotely based on client needs.
3. Provides treatment according to any evidence-based practices for which they have been trained.
4. Develops a treatment plan to ensure client progress and evaluate on an ongoing basis.
5. Provides linkage and advocacy to ensure that the client and family have access to services that will help achieve treatment goals.
6. Ensures fidelity to the evidence-based practice model.
7. Completed all documentation in a timely manner according to the requirements.
8. Follow all quality assurance guidelines.
9. Follow all ethical/legal guidelines.
10. Participates in weekly staff meetings and case presentations.
11. Meets productivity expectations as set by the Director.
12. Be available to work flexible hours in order to meet the needs of clients and the department.
13. Participates in individual supervision with the Director.
14. Assumes other responsibilities as assigned by the Director.

Requirements

Candidates must have a Master's Degree and be registered on BBS (LMFT/ LCSW)
MUST be bilingual in English and Spanish

Schedule:

Monday- Friday 8:00-4:30 pm
