A hospital in Evansville, IN is seeking Medical Records Technicians to support their team.
This is a 4 week contract position with the possibility of extension.
Overview of Responsibilities:
- Collect patient charts from different hospital departments and chart walls
- Match patient charts with database
- Prepare patient records and paperwork
- Scan patient records and charts into EMR system (Cerner)
Required Qualifications:
- Excel experience
- Computer proficiency
- Must be comfortable on your feet for about an hour at a time (walking around the facility to collect charts)

- Problem-Solving
- Quick learner
- Excellent attendance
Schedule: Sunday-Friday OR Monday-Saturday; 4:30pm-1:00am OR 12:00am-6:00am
Pay: $16-19 per hour depending on experience.
Benefits Provided by Medix:
In order to be eligible for health benefits, you must be employed for 30 days and must average 30 hours per week over your first four weeks on assignment. If you become eligible and take action to enroll, you will be covered no earlier than 60 days into your assignment, depending on plan selection(s).

Sick Pay: You will receive one day of Sick Time after working 600 hours and an additional day of Sick Time for every 300 hours after. **Please note that if you're in a city/state with unique PTO requirements, the city/state's policy will override Medix's internal PTO policy.
