GMP Finished Goods Technician

Job description

This is a great opportunity for a new scientific graduate looking to gain experience in the biotech industry! Individuals with prior GMP fill/finish experience will also be considered.

Shift: M-F, 8a-4:30p

Pay: $20-$21hr

Duration: 6 month contract with the chance to be extended

Position Description
The Contract Finished Goods Fill/Pack Technician I fills, labels, and packages final product for the Finished Goods Team. This position is charged with adhering to the Quality System to execute consistent processes that result in repeatable product for on time delivery.
Responsibilities

  • Perform applicable processes as detailed in work instructions, including but not limited to:
  • Label template generation and printing with Bartender software and Zebra thermal printers
  • Labeling, manually and with semi-automatic pneumatic equipment
  • Thawing and handling solutions and light sensitive product
  • Filling with multi-dispense pipette, serological pipette, or peristaltic pump and balance
  • Packaging of final product and heat sealing as needed
  • Line clearance and PPE usage
  • Perform SAP transactions for issuing materials, order confirmations, and good receipts.
  • Record production activities on all applicable forms in accordance with Good Documentation Practices.
  • Contribute to and support department/corporate goals
  • Work with Supervisor to ensure personal growth through individual goal setting and participate in a dialog around performance reviews.
  • Complete all required quality documentation training as issued through Master Control.
  • Ensure compliance to applicable ISO Quality and EHS regulations and standards.
  • Contribute to a strong team mindset with a focus on creative problem solving.
