Job Title: Profee E/M and Simple Surgery Coder

Location: Remote
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Profee Coder to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for coding E/M services and simple surgical procedures, including office-based casting and injections. If you have at least 4 years of hands-on Profee E/M coding experience and are passionate about accuracy and efficiency, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate coding for E/M services and simple office-based surgeries (e.g., casting, injections).
• Maintain a high level of productivity, meeting the metric requirement of 20 codes per hour with a 95% or higher accuracy rate.
• Collaborate with peers and management to ensure coding practices adhere to industry standards.
• Utilize MS Office tools to document and manage coding-related tasks.

Qualifications:

• Required:
  • At least 4 years of Profee E/M coding experience, including simple surgical procedures.
  • Active CPC (Certified Professional Coder) or CCS-P (Certified Coding Specialist - Physician) certification.
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent work experience).
• Preferred:
  • Experience with Epic PB and Epic HB (certification is a big plus).
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools.
