Job description

We are looking for an entry level scientist to join and exciting and rapidly growing biotech company! Interested applications must have an Associates of Science degree or higher in any Physical Science, Medical Technology or Cytotechnology.

Shift: 100% on site, 3pm-11pm 4 weekdays + Saturday (Saturday shift is 9am-5pm)

Pay: $24-$26hr

Job Description:

The Clinical Laboratory Scientist I receives, and processes high complexity tests.

Responsibilities include blood testing in compliance with Good Clinical Laboratory Practices and/or CAP and CLIA as applicable, proper documentation, ordering and inspection of reagents, laboratory equipment maintenance, participation in process improvement projects, assay implementation, customer complaint, assay and instrument qualification procedures, laboratory incident investigations and documentation. The Clinical Laboratory Scientist I processes samples for next generation sequencing while following all CAP and CLIA guidelines as well as relevant SOPs.

Requirements:

  • Required - Associates degree in science
  • Preferred - BS in any Physical Science, Medical Technology or Cytotechnology
  • Preferred: Clinical laboratory experience and next generation sequencing knowledge
