Job description

Clinical Duties -

  • Record patient vital signs and conduct EKGs.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and retrieve radiology images electronically for physician review.
  • Assist with medication list updates, review of systems, and preparing patients for surgical or biopsy procedures.
  • Administer injections and assist with wound care under a surgeon's guidance.
  • Coordinate biopsies and surgical schedules.

Administrative Duties

  • Utilize various systems, including EMR platforms, Microsoft Teams, Excel, and hospital-specific software.
  • Perform patient check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Manage scheduling, admissions, and insurance verifications (e.g., collecting co-pays and referrals).
  • Handle medical records via email, fax, and postal methods.
  • Oversee front desk operations, patient forms, and incoming communications.
  • Troubleshoot care space and telemedicine setups as needed.

Customer Service

  • Greet and assist patients, staff, and vendors with professionalism and warmth.
