Billing Specialist

Provides Billing and Administrative support for specific departments.
Verify insurance eligibility, process funding changes, and complete billing process for Case Management, Family Based Services, and Magellan programs.
Troubleshoot billing issues and collaborate with appropriate staff members to resolve.
Obtain and enter Family Based Services Authorizations.
Registering and obtaining MHX numbers within the county
Complete Late Billing and Submissions
Closing new consumers from Intake and opening to proper programs verifying diagnosis is present, enter in reimbursement and identifying any insurance concerns, and alerts appropriate outpatient staff member if no follow-up appointment is scheduled.
Assist and Backup Liability/Intake functions.
Backup co-workers and assist with other Departmental functions as needed.
