Bilingual Pharmacy Technician

This position is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day Telepharmacy operations within the store, including customer service, monitoring business metrics, inventory management and asset protection. This position provides an opportunity, in a leading retail pharmacy setting, to excel in a complex, high-impact patient-focused role and positively impact the lives of others. Telepharmacy Technicians must always demonstrate ethical conduct and maintain patient confidentiality.

• Manages all communications (phone, email, A/V technology, fax) and assists patients at the Telepharmacy counter or via telecommunications.
• Supports patients in connecting with the Supervising Pharmacist remotely.
• Handles prescription fulfillment in compliance with State and Federal law.
• Coordinates patient medication orders, resolving issues with pharmacy teams, medical staff, insurance companies, and customers.
• Performs cash register transactions and manages pharmacy operations, inventory, and sales.
• Ensures maintenance of Telepharmacy equipment and systems.
• Maintains security procedures, including opening/closing duties and asset protection protocols.
• Oversees Telepharmacy administration, including reporting, communications, and scheduling.
• Ensures attention to detail, excellent customer service, and effective communication.
• Applies strong math skills to solve problems and process prescriptions.

Qualifications:

• CPhT license
• Good standing with the TX Board of Pharmacy
• 2+ years of retail Pharmacy experience
• Spanish Bilingual
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Shift/Schedule:

• M-Th: 9am to 5:30pm ; F: 9am to 5pm
