Bilingual Patient Account Representative (Customer Service)

Job description

A large Revenue Cycle Management company is looking for experienced Patient Access Representatives to join their team.

This is a fully Remote opportunity with equipment provided.

Overview of Responsibilities:

  • Receives a high volume of incoming calls
  • Explains billing statements to patients and provides clarification around billing disputes
  • Assists patients with setting up payment plans
  • Collects patient payments over the phone
  • Explains financial responsibility to patients

Requirements:

  • Bilingual (Spanish)
  • Healthcare Call Center experience
  • Computer proficiency
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Quiet, Dedicated Work from Home environment with strong internet

Additional Skills:

  • Explanation of Benefits experience
  • Primary vs. Secondary Insurance Knowledge

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm MST

Pay: $15-16.50 depending on experience

Length: 1040 hours (Approx. 6 months) Contract to Hire*

*Possibility of long-term employment with client company upon successful completion of contract period

Benefits provided by Medix:

In order to be eligible for health benefits, you must be employed for 30 days and must average 30 hours per week over your first four weeks on assignment. If you become eligible and take action to enroll, you will be covered no earlier than 60 days into your assignment, depending on plan selection(s).
