Location: Los Angeles

Salary: 166,400 - 208,000

Schedule: (16hrs) Monday - Sunday 7:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M., 7:30 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. or 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.

Qualifications

  • Current Medical License (pocket card will be required at credentialing)
  • Current DEA Certificate with California address (must be unrestricted)
  • Curriculum Vitae which includes specific dates of training and work history, as well as documentation of all timespans from completion of medical education through the present time.
  • Current Board Certificate
  • A physician subspecialist will need a license in California.BC/BE. Dermatology, Orthopedics, Gastroenterology and a copy of California License and DEA license are required. Provider BLS certification (includes CPR certification) is also required.
  • Medical degree.
  • Completion of a three-year internal residency
  • Completion of a three-year gastroenterology fellowship
  • Attainment of certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine
  • Proficiency in performing endoscopic and colonoscopy procedures
  • Proficiency with X-Rays, MRIs, and ultrasound scanning

Job Description

  • Dermatology
    • Assess medical needs and compile care plans, addressing acute needs, chronic conditions, and preventive health maintenance
    • Furnish/transmit appropriate medications and treatments.
    • Perform in-office procedures such as incision and drainage, arthrocentesis, nail removal, skin biopsy, cryotherapy, joint injections and additional subspecialty procedures per subspecialists
  • Orthopedic
    • Setting broken bones with braces, pins, splints, or casts, diagnosing injuries or illnesses to bones, joints, and ligaments, and correcting defects to the musculoskeletal system.
    • Performing blood tests to check for degenerative bone conditions.
    • Surgically repairing bones, nerves, ligaments, tendons, and joints to promote healing
  • Primary Care
    • Primary care physician for a panel of patients, working with a care team and other staff at LACHC to serve as a patient- centered medical home for our patients
    • Conjointly supervise medical assistants/nurses to improve care team efficiency and efficacy, along with Medical Assistant Supervisor
