GMP Cleaner

Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time cGMP Cleaner to report to the cGMP Support Supervisor. In this role, you will ensure the operational excellence of the cleanroom by performing daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks that uphold its integrity in line with regulatory and industry standards. You will clean, restock, and maintain the cleanroom's health, while supporting the manufacturing team to enhance operational flow and efficiency.

Essential Job Functions

• Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) with strict adherence.
• Adhere to established cleaning protocols and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
• Complete all required written and online training.
• Spend the majority of the time working in a cleanroom, fully gowned, including head covering, facemask, gloves, plant shoes, and safety glasses.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to providing high-quality service with energy and endurance.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks as required.
• Mop floors using various cleanroom disinfectants, following established procedures.
• Complete cGMP documentation, including records and logbooks.
• Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental responsibilities.
• Follow relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Site Quality procedures to ensure 100% compliance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in GMP cleaning.
• Experience with inventory management and record documentation.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication in English.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Prior experience in a biopharmaceutical GMP-controlled environment preferred.
• Ability to accurately complete area logbooks as required by SOPs.
• Capable of lifting and moving items weighing 50+ pounds regularly.
• Willingness to work non-standard shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• No makeup, nail polish, or jewelry allowed in GMP areas.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, push, pull, bend, crouch, and lift equipment/materials for extended periods.
