Job description

Medix is seeking an experienced Benefits Compliance Facilitator to bring their knowledge to a dynamic company. This position is a full time hyrbrid opportunity!

Overview: The Benefits Compliance Facilitator is responsible for overseeing the creation, maintenance, and distribution of various compliance documents essential for regulatory adherence in the insurance industry. This position involves a comprehensive understanding of ERISA Wrap, Section 125 Premium Conversion Plan/POP, SMM, and Employee Annual Notices, and requires adept coordination with internal teams, clients, and external vendors.

Skills and Abilities:
-Possess a strong understanding of the principles of human resources and benefits compliance, including laws and regulations.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
-Exceptional problem-solving skills, combined with a persistent approach to achieving successful resolutions.
-Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage daily responsibilities effectively.
-Experience in building and maintaining strong client relationships, understanding clients' unique needs, and providing
customized human resources solutions.

Prefered:

  • Master's in Business Administration, Human Resources, Labor Relations, or Employment Law
  • Human Resources certifications (SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP)
  • Life and Health Insurance License
