AR Representative

We are seeking a AR Representative to join a reputable healthcare consulting organization located in downtown Chicago!

Daily Responsibilities:

• Follow up in EPIC on physician claims and working with the payers. Need to have experience doing true follow up as it helps to know what questions to ask the payers.
• Follow up with insurance payers through the EPIC portal as well as phone calls
• Handle up to 60 invoices a day.
• Handle denials and no response claims.
• Help with any additional projects that come the team's way.
• Communicate with both payers and patients, providing high quality customer service.

Schedule: M-F, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM; Onsite with the opportunity to turn hybrid

Requirements:

• More than 1 year of experience in Physician AR Follow Up Experience
• More than 1 year of Denials Experience
• Proficient in understanding why claims can be denied and how to get them paid
• Proficient in using computer systems including but not limited to: EPIC, Microsoft Office, Excel most importantly, payer websites.
• Computer literacy and typing efficiency

Preffered Requirements:

• Experience with EPIC
