Title - AR Follow up Representative

Hybrid remote - *Must be willing to work onsite 2 days a week in Lewisville TX*

Hours - Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm

• 2+ years of experience in professional medical billing and insurance follow-up
• Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Knowledge of insurance claim submission processes and familiarity with various payer guidelines
• Excellent communication skills to interact with insurance companies and internal stakeholders effectively

• Global Practice Management System (GPMS) experience
• Provider Billing/Collections Exp in a Hospital Setting
• Insurance Collections experience aligned to Pediatric, NICU, & PICU claims
• Mednax experience

Day to day:

• Working in GMPS system every day so someone strong with EMR/Billing systems and strong technology skills is required
• Provider billing in a hospital setting
• Monitor and track claim statuses, identifying and resolving claim rejections or denials promptly
• Conduct regular follow-up with insurance companies to check on claim statuses and resolve outstanding issues
• Review and appeal denied claims as necessary, adhering to deadlines and requirements
• Maintain updated knowledge of insurance regulations, billing guidelines, and coding updates
• Collaborate with internal teams to address billing discrepancies and ensure compliance with payer requirements
• Generate and analyze reports related to billing and collections, identifying trends and areas for improvement
