We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our medical center. The Administrative Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of daily administrative tasks, supporting healthcare professionals, and enhancing patient experience. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a strong ability to multitask, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a professional manner.
Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient records.
Maintain accurate and organized electronic and paper records.
Process insurance claims, billing, and medical documentation.
Coordinate meetings, prepare reports, and handle correspondence.
Ensure compliance with medical center policies and HIPAA regulations.
Assist with inventory management and ordering office supplies.
Support healthcare professionals with administrative tasks as needed.
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Coordinating calendars
Keeping track of time and attendance
Making sure invoices are approved and rendered
Making sure contracts are submitted in system
