Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Data entry: enter specimen information into laboratory information system (LIS).
• Resolve and document any problem specimens.
• Completes all paperwork required to process and submit specimens.
• Coordinate with clinics, hospitals, etc. for sample submission process.
• Follows standard sequences/coding when entering data and corrects, edits, and/or verifies data.
• Package and ship orders of sample collection supplies for customers, record sample IDs and tracking information in the laboratory information system.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivilent is required
• Strong data entry experience with the ability to pay attention to details is an absolute must
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Previous experience in a medical device production, medical office or diagnostic laboratory is preferred
