Patient Service Representative

Medix is looking to hire a Patient Service Representative for a Radiology Clinic in Beverly Hills! Our client is looking to bring on eager and customer service oriented professionals with a minimum of one year experience in a Healthcare setting.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Greet and register patients in a friendly and service oriented manner
• Collect and log all co-pays and fees
• Give patients appropriate orientation for preparatory and safety protocols, and provide directions to the facility if needed
• Coordinate with back office staff for timely and effective care of patients
• Registration/patient check in/Documentation prior to patients coming in
• Verifying insurance
• Verifying all facts before the patient walks in
• Authorization for HMO and PPO
• 15 Patients an hour MINIMUM

Must Have Skills/Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Friendly/customer service oriented
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills
• Stong multitasking and communication skills
• Medical terminology knowledge and recent healthcare experience

Schedule:

• 9am - 5pm
• OR 12pm-9pm

Pay:

• $19-20/hour DOE + Benefits
