Job description
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Patient Account Representative/Medical Billing Specialist to join our dynamic team! As a leading revenue cycle vendor for healthcare providers, we offer a fast-paced and rewarding environment where your contributions will directly impact the success of our operations.
Please note - this role is full onsite. No medical billing experience is required. We welcome anyone who has front desk expereince within the healthcare realm as well.
Location: Cherry Hill, NJ & Pennsauken, NJ (no travel)
Pay Rate: $18 - $20 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Position Type: Full-time, Onsite
Key Responsibilities:
Exporting, importing, and submitting claims between various systems
Handling medical billing collections and follow-up on outstanding balances
Resolving insurance denials, underpayments, and rejections
Reviewing medical claims for accuracy and completeness
Identifying and resolving issues that may prevent timely claim resolution
Documenting and entering data accurately into the system
Verifying health insurance benefits for patients
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous experience in medical billing, insurance claims, or healthcare revenue cycle preferred (not required)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in MS Office Suite and medical billing software
