Job description



Responsibilities

  • This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for patients and managing the administrative tasks that support the dental practice
  • The receptionist will be responsible for scheduling appointments, handling patient inquiries, and ensuring accurate documentation, all while providing exceptional customer service in both English and Spanish
  • Warmly welcoming patients and visitors, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere
  • Scheduling appointments and coordinating the dental team's daily schedule
  • Handling patient inquiries, providing information, and addressing concerns with a caring attitude
  • Managing patient records and ensuring accurate and confidential documentation
  • Assisting with insurance claims and billing processes, ensuring a smooth administrative process for patients
  • Greeting patients, signing them in, and scheduling future appointments
  • Maintaining the appointment book and confirming appointments
  • Following up on no-shows and cancellations of appointments
  • Registering patients on the sign-in sheet and posting charges and payments to patient accounts
  • Checking voice-mail on a daily basis and maintaining a clean and friendly waiting area for patients

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:30pm // Friday 8:30am - 3:00pm/5:00pm

Must Have:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Dental front office experience
