RN Nurse Manager


Location: Irvine, CA 92618
Salary Range: $125,000 - $140,000/year

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM or 6:30 AM-3:00 PM (depending on the day).

Join our team as an RN Nurse Manager, where you'll lead a high-performing surgical team, oversee daily operations, and ensure the highest quality of care. With opportunities to grow into a Director of Nursing (DON) role, this position is perfect for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for driving excellence in ambulatory care.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee daily operations in the Operating Room (OR), Pre-Op, and PACU, supported by charge nurses in each area.
  • Manage OR schedules, assist with surgeries as needed, and ensure smooth workflows.
  • Uphold quality measures, including infection control, patient experience, and adherence to policies and AAAHC guidelines.
  • Collaborate with physicians, staff, and leadership to maintain compliance and improve outcomes.
  • Take ownership of resource allocation, cost controls, and staff development.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a current state license.
  • Real OR experience, ideally in hospital-based or advanced specialty settings.
  • Leadership experience, such as serving as a charge nurse.
  • Familiarity with AORN policies and practices.
  • Commitment to growth, with an interest in advancing into a DON role.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • CNOR certification (preferred but not required).

  • Strong leadership and critical thinking abilities.
  • Effective communication with staff, physicians, and management.
  • Deep understanding of infection control practices and regulatory compliance.
