Kirkland, WA

Position Details

  • Hourly Pay Range: $48.82 - $81.46 (based on experience)
  • Openings: 3

Schedule Options

  • Weekday Night Shift: 5x8s, 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Mon - Thurs)
  • Weekend Evening Shift: 3x12s, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM (Sat, Sun, Mon)
  • Weekend Day Shift: 3x12s, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Sat, Sun, Mon)
  • Rotating weekends may apply

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

The MRI Technologist performs diagnostic MRI procedures following a physician's prescription, ensuring high-quality imaging, patient care, and safety standards.



Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform advanced MRI scans, including administering contrast media under radiologist supervision.
  2. Analyze patient condition to determine the best approach for imaging.
  3. Assist patients in preparing for the procedure, explain the process, and address any concerns.
  4. Manage access to the magnet room, ensuring compliance with MRI safety protocols.
  5. Screen patients for contraindications (e.g., implants, pacemakers) and notify radiologists of any issues.
  6. Adhere to MRI safety standards and provide protective measures as needed.
  7. Maintain proper documentation and complete other assigned duties as required.

Licensure & Certification:

  • Current ARRT or ARMRIT certification (or registry-eligible)
  • Washington State Radiologic Technologist license
  • Must register in MRI within 1 year of hire
  • BLS Certification (Healthcare Provider) by hire date
  • Completion of MRI-specific training or coursework

Preferred Experience:

  • 1+ years of experience in Radiology (MRI experience not required)
