Job Title: Medical Assistant

Job Location Details: On-Site

Work Location: Lakewood and Westminster (floating between both locations)

Job Description:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a new graduate eager to gain hands-on clinical experience and further their career in healthcare.

Responsibilities/ Job Duties:

  • Assist physicians in maintaining a steady flow throughout the daily clinic.
  • Operate EKG machines and ensure accurate readings.
  • Accurately record patient vitals such as blood pressure, heart rate, weight, and current symptoms.
  • Document patients' current medication list, reason for visit, and other pertinent medical information.
  • Perform cardiovascular stress testing under the supervision of a physician.
  • Print post-hospital and transport office records as required.
  • Verify and review patient records, including medications, reasons for visit, and other important details.
  • Maintain and update patient charts, test results, and examination records.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, such as cleaning office spaces, managing supplies, and ensuring the clinic runs smoothly.

Minimum Educaiton and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Strong desire to advance in the medical field (nursing school, medical school, PA school, etc.).
  • Excellent attendance, strong work ethic, and communication skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.

Schedule/ Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
