Medical Assembler

Job description

Looking for a Medical Assembler with previous experience. This role is working outside of a clean room assembling medical device. It would be a first shift position located in Eden Priarie, MN.

Responsibilities:

Conduct product builds to support Operations and R&D projects (70%)

  • Follow detailed work instructions under guidance from team members.
  • Set up, operate, and dismantle medical device processing equipment, including coaters, pleat/folder machines, and vacuum sealers.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and resolve equipment issues during production.
  • Independently apply best practices for operating basic laboratory equipment.
  • Utilize software tools to collect and manage data efficiently.

Communicate progress and results to teams and supervisors (20%)

  • Maintain accurate and organized records for laboratory or manufacturing batch activities.
  • Report results and any experimental issues to colleagues and supervisors.
  • Ensure the lab is maintained in a well-organized and efficient manner.

Schedule: M-F 6 am to 2:30 pm

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in laboratory settings or technical roles within medical device development, manufacturing, or assembly.
  • Proficiency in using medical device processing equipment and laboratory tools.
  • Strong attention to detail with experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • High school diploma or GED
