Location: Towson or Baltimore City

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $28-$33/hour (Based on Experience)


About Us:

We are leading mental health organization dedicated to providing high-quality trauma therapy services to victims of power-based violence. We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Trauma Therapist to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

The Trauma Therapist will provide trauma therapy services to 20-24 clients, reporting directly to the Clinical Director. The role involves a mix of in-person and virtual sessions, with the option to provide evening hours to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide trauma therapy services to victims of power-based violence.
  • Conduct both group and individual therapy sessions.
  • Maintain a caseload of 20-24 clients, with a duration of 6 months per client.
  • Collaborate with the intake coordinator for scheduling appointments.
  • Refer clients to long-term therapy services when necessary.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Flexibility to accommodate afternoon/evening hours if desired

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) required.
  • Experience in trauma therapy is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to providing culturally sensitive and inclusive care.
