Job description

HIRING A CLINICAL SYSTEMS SPECIALIST IN PORTLAND!

Schedule: M-F 8-5 PM
Occasionally will travel to different clinics - gas is reimbursed
Remote days from time to time

Pay: Between $31-$39/hr depending on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain content and settings in the EHR related to Clinical Content, Revenue Cycle, Ambulatory, Contracting, and other modules, ensuring they align with industry best practices and organizational needs.
  • Optimize and train employees and providers on clinical and non-clinical workflows in collaboration and at the direction of leadership.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to develop and optimize processes while promoting an understanding of the capabilities of the EHR and other information systems to support patient safety, quality, work-life balance, and administrative needs.
  • Use data, goals, and organizational priorities to provide/develop training and support for our users on EHR efficiencies and workflows.
  • Monitor incoming EHR related requests and triage them based on importance, urgency, and strategic direction in partnership with leadership. Provide technical support, issue investigation, and respond to escalations from team members and end-users as needed, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
  • Support data analysis by building EHR tools to support the extraction and presentation of data related to organizational operations and finance.
  • Participate in and lead as asked EHR or operational implementations/optimizations.
  • Stay updated on Epic software updates, industry trends, and best practices to recommend and implement enhancements.
  • Collaborate with a broad collection of end-users, including revenue cycle specialists, clinical staff, contracting teams, executive leadership, managers, providers, and contracted workers, to analyze and improve workflows within the EHR system. Work directly with partner organizations and their analysts to support the functions and responsibilities herein.

Must Have Qualifications:

  • Clinical Background is preferred
  • Strong EPIC experience
  • EPIC training experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
