Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, proactive, and team-oriented Bilingual Medical Assistant (English/Spanish) to join our rapidly growing primary care practice. Operating under an innovative Medicare Advantage Value-Based Care model, our clinics are dedicated exclusively to serving senior patients (ages 60+).
Unlike high-volume assembly-line clinics, our model schedules generous 45-minute appointments, allowing you and your Primary Care Physician (PCP) to form deep relationships, provide individualized health coaching, and close vital gaps in care. While visit times are longer, our clinic moves at a dynamic, steady pace, making adaptability, strong phlebotomy skills, and a collaborative spirit essential.

-
Comprehensive Intake: Room senior members, obtain and record accurate vital signs, perform medical history reviews, and conduct patient interviews.
-

-
Phlebotomy & Injections: Perform routine venipuncture/blood draws, process lab specimens, and administer prescribed intramuscular/subcutaneous injections.
-
Minor Procedures & First Aid: Assist the provider with sterile dressing changes, bandage applications, suture removal, and CPR/first-aid when necessary.
-
Health Coaching & Education: Provide guided lifestyle and health coaching to select patient groups, conducting scheduled check-in calls to reinforce care plans.
Care Coordination & Practice Support
-
Gap Closure (FOCS): Actively identify and address care gaps (Focus on Care Gaps) to fulfill quality health measures.
-
Pre-Visit Planning & Referrals: Review upcoming schedules to prepare necessary clinical workflows and process STAT/urgent specialty referrals.

-
Cross-Functional Teamwork: Participate actively in morning huddles (starting promptly at 8:00 AM) and support team members across the clinic to ensure smooth patient flow.
